Steel Strapping Systems

Steel Strapping

Apex Plus strapping is a cold-rolled, medium carbon steel strapping, engineered to yield a higher break strength at a thinner gauge than regular-duty steel strapping. In many light to medium-duty applications, Apex Plus can substitute for the heavier gauge regular-duty steel strapping to save money on material and shipping costs.

Magnus strapping is a cold-rolled, heat-treated, medium carbon steel strapping that provides high tensile strength and excellent shock resistance for the heaviest-duty applications.

Seals

There are five different types of seals available:  Snap On, Thread On, Open Flange, Push Type, Nestack and Microgrip.

Machines

Power strapping machines, the most efficient method for strap application, ensure uniform strap placement and load integrity for high production applications. Available in semi- and fully-automatic model

Tools

Combination tools function as tensioners, sealers, and cutters. They save time by eliminating the handling of separate tools.

Pneumatic tensioners take most of the effort out of strapping large or compressible packages. They also make tensioning uniform and precise through adjustment of the air pressure regulator.

Hand tensioners allow operators to bring strap to desired tension with minimal interruption, effort and strap waste.

Accessories

Air filter-regulator-lubricators, dispensers, power strap feeders, tool balancers, coil lifters, digital tensionmeters, edge protectors, strap cutters and other accessories are available.

Plastic Strapping Systems

Plastic Strapping

Tenax polyester strapping is designed for medium to heavy-duty palletizing and unitizing applications and can be applied by hand tools or power strapping equipment. This strapping material yields higher break strengths and maintains a higher level of retained strap tension than polypropylene strapping

High-Strength Tenax is a highly engineered polyester strapping material that combines the performance properties of both steel and plastic strapping to form a stronger, more resilient strapping material.

Hand Tools

Combination tools function as tensioners, sealers and cutters. They save time by eliminating the handling of separate tools.

Manual hand tools are the most basic form of strap application equipment. They are perfect for operations that either do not have access to power sources or do not require the speed of powered hand tools.
